NARS Family Workshop – The Art of Sound

I was invited by the wonderful people at NARS (New York Art Studios and Residency Foundation) to do a workshop for kids along with the teaching artist Danielle Bullock. The workshop was called The Art of Sound! and in it I did some live sonic experiments, demonstrated some examples of the effect of space on sound and played some evocative field recordings. Danielle then led some projects in which the students (ranching from 4 to 12 years of age) created images and objects based on the sounds they heard.
