Curated by Benjamin Wright
The installation Seven Frozen Words was exhibited in the group show Pushing Buttons, curated by Benjamin Wright. The work includes objects created during a residency at The Tacoma Museum of Glass, dry ice, video, audio and viewer interaction. Seven Frozen Words continues my investigation into the shared languages of science and art and also expands on the themes from the performance Frozen Words Hot Air, in particular, imagery from Gargantua and Pantagruel by Francois Rabelais and the mediated language of Donald Trump. In this work the viewer activates the performance by feeding a oil-filled vessel with dry ice.
