PARTICIPANT MAPS

The evolution of Simultaneous Translation has been documented in numerous diagrams which map the connections between all of the players. Part exploration, part obsessive reworking on the part of their creator (John Roach) they help to make some of the project's intangibles (distance, streaming signal ins and outs, etc) more visible. They are also considered a link to the internet maps and language maps also referenced on the Performance page.

The images on the right are meant to be shared with the participants and are somewhat polished.
