A Short film created with the support of a Graf Travel Grant while I was in the final year of my Hunter College MFA. The film was screened as part of the Symposium Incarcerated with Genet & Artaud at The Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA) in London.
The images were captured using a super-8 film camera and a still camera while visiting the Ville Évrard asylum where Antonin Artaud was a patient in 1939. Some basic digital animations were created using some very early animation technology from Amiga.
